Objectives:
· This Course has a dual purpose. It seeks to introduce
to the students the methods of studying elections. It also seeks to acquaint
the student with the practice of studying elections in India and issues
involved in it. Taking off from the history and evolution of election studies,
the course further dwells on key issues in India’s electoral politics.
